The ITI Electrician Course is a 2-year technical training programme designed to develop skilled electricians for domestic, commercial and industrial applications. The course provides a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical workshop training in electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, electrical machines, motors, transformers, measuring instruments, testing and troubleshooting.
Trainees also receive training in Electrical Safety, Engineering Drawing, Workshop Calculation & Science, and Employability Skills. After completing the course, trainees can pursue careers as Electricians, Electrical Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Wiremen, or continue with apprenticeship and higher technical education.

After successfully completing the Electrician Trade, trainees can pursue employment in manufacturing industries, electrical maintenance departments, construction and infrastructure projects, service organizations, power-related establishments and other industrial sectors.
They may also pursue apprenticeship training, higher technical education and skill-development programmes to further improve their career prospects.
